December 14, 2009 School Board Finance Committee Meeting  The 2010-2011 preliminary School District budget will be discussed at a public School Board Finance Committee meeting on December 14, 2009 at 7:30 pm at the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Administration Offices (TEAO) at 904 West Valley Road, Suite 1700, Wayne. Click here for the meeting agenda.   December 7, 2009 Regular School Board Meeting Recap The School Board met in regular session on December 7, 2009 at 7:30 pm at Conestoga High School. Click here for the meeting recap.   The meeting is airing on T/E TV, Comcast Channel 14 and Verizon Channel 20, at 6:50 pm daily, immediately following the T/E Board Talk program that begins at 6:00 pm. Updated H1N1 Vaccination Clinic Schedules From the Chester County Health Department    The Chester County Health Department is scheduling small clinics for December 22nd and 23rd. They are also scheduling clinics for January 2010. Please call 610-344-5353 to schedule an appointment Monday-Friday 9am - 4pm. Anyone over the age of 3 years is eligible to receive the vaccine. Please print out the age-appropriate consent form located on our website and bring it with you to to the clinic. December 7, 2009 Regular School Board Meeting  The School Board will meet in regular session on November 23, 2009 at 7:30 pm at Conestoga High School.   Click here for the meeting agenda. H1N1 Vaccine Availability From the Chester County Health Department    The Chester County Health Department is again scheduling vaccine appointments for Tier 1 (as classified by the CDC) individuals. Tier 1 includes the following:  Pregnant women (including household members and spouses) Caregivers of children younger than 6 months of age Direct healthcare givers and EMS personnel who administer direct patient care. This does not include office personnel, or other staff who do not have direct patient contact. You will be required to provide a valid ID at the time of your appointment. Ages 3 - 24 - Everyone in this age group qualifies for an appointment Ages 2-3 everyone in this age group will receive FluMist (live vaccine). We are not scheduling appointments for children under age 2 at this time. Ages 25 to 64 who have underlying health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza, such as weakened immune systems and cancer. Anyone in this age group must provide a written doctors note at the time of your appointment. No shots will be given unless a valid doctor's note is provided.  The Chester County Health Department will administer this free vaccine to Tier 1 persons through its normal clinic appointment program at the Health Department's 601 Westtown Road location in West Chester.  Appointments can be scheduled by calling 610-344-5353, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
