| | Finance Committee To Discuss 2011-2012 Budget on February 14, 2011 The School Board Finance Committee will meet to continue discussing the 2011-2012 budget on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 7:30 pm in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Administration Offices at 940 West Valley Road, Suite 1700 in Wayne. | | Revised Calendar: March 4 and March 28, 2011 Will Be Instructional Days For Students Due to weather related school closings, the school district calendar has been changed for this year. The staff inservice days scheduled for Friday, March 4th and Monday, March 28th have been changed to instructional days for all students. All schools will be open on Friday, March 4th and Monday, March 28th. The tentative last day of school for students will be Thursday, June 16th. If there is another snow day this year, the last day of school will be moved to Friday, June 17th. The school year calendar has been adjusted to reflect four make-up days. Should there be future emergency closing days, the lost instructional days will be made up as follows, beginning with Day 5:
Day 1: June 15, 2011 Day 2: June 16, 2011 Day 3: March 4, 2011 (originally a staff inservice day) Day 4: March 28, 2011 (originally a staff inservice day) Day 5: June 17, 2011 Day 6: April 18, 2011 Day 7: April 19, 2011 Day 8: April 20, 2011 At its discretion, the School Board reserves the right to further reschedule instructional days by using days when school is not in session. |
| Special Education Parent Survey
The Right to Education Local Task Force is asking all special education parents in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District to complete a survey to evaluate satisfaction with the Special Education process at Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. Please complete one (1) survey for each child that receives any Special Education services in the T/E School District. Most of the questions require only a Yes or No answer. Others request an overall satisfaction rating for a particular Special Education category. You may simply skip any questions that are not applicable or that you do not wish to answer. Finally, there is an opportunity to comment on any area you do not feel was adequately covered with the other questions, including what is going well or areas for which improvement would be beneficial.
