2013 Budget Discussions During 2012, Tredyffrin will review the services provided by a different Township department each month at a Board of Supervisors public meeting, as well as revenue sources available to pay for those services. The goal is to engage in public dialogue that will lead to goals for the 2013 budget that begins in the fall. A Fortnight in Chester County: The American Revolution in our Backyard Tredyffrin Township Public Library is hosting a presentation of the Battle of Paoli mapping project. The Township's Historical Commission has been honored for its coordination with the Chester County Department of Parks & Recreation on this project. Identity Theft Seminar The Tredyffrin Twp. Police Department is hosting a free Identity Theft seminar on Thursday, February 23rd , 7-8 pm. The class will take place in the Police Department’s multi-purpose room, accessed through Keene Hall. Signs will be posted in advance. Learn how not to become your neighborhood’s next target! Paoli Transportation Center News At the January 23rd Board of Supervisors meeting, consulting firms were selected for two Township projects related to the Paoli Transportation Center. McMahon Associates, Inc. was selected as the engineering and public involvement consultant team to complete a study outlining recommendations for road improvements needed to support the planned Transportation Center. Bergmann Associates, Inc. was selected as the engineering team to design various signal and roadway improvements for the Routes 252 and 30 Intersection. The same week, Septa selected Gannett Fleming to design the new station and parking garages. An important component of these projects is public outreach. Later this year, there will be more information about opportunities for input. |
