Keystone Exam Update
On August 13th, the State Board of Education approved the proposed Keystone Exams by a 14-2 vote. The plan would require students to pass end-of-course exams in defined subjects to be eligible for a high school diploma. Keystone Exams will be developed in ten subject areas, with tests in Algebra 1, English literature, and biology scheduled for 2010-11 implementation. The final form of these regulations has been sent to the Independent Regulatory Review Commission for consideration. New updates will be provided as the process moves forward in Harrisburg.

Upcoming Meeting Dates
Meetings will be held at the T/E School District Administration Offices (TEAO): West Valley Business Center, 940 West Valley Road, Suite 1700, Wayne, unless otherwise noted. Regular School Board meetings are held at Conestoga High School (CHS). Meeting agendas are linked once they are available on the TESD web site. Education Committee Meeting: 9/8 at 8:30 a.m. Public Information Committee Meeting: 9/10 at 9:30 a.m. Finance Committee Meeting: 9/14 at 7:30 p.m. |
