Keystone Exam Update On August 13th, the State Board of Education approved the proposed Keystone Exams by a 14-2 vote. The plan would require students to pass end-of-course exams in defined subjects to be eligible for a high school diploma. Keystone Exams will be developed in ten subject areas, with tests in Algebra 1, English literature, and biology scheduled for 2010-11 implementation. The final form of these regulations has been sent to the Independent Regulatory Review Commission for consideration. New updates will be provided as the process moves forward in Harrisburg.
