Budget Update from February 8th Finance Committee Meeting On February 8, 2010 the T/E School Board Finance Committee met to discuss proposed strategies to close the 2010-2011 budget gap. Projections for 2010-2011 show an expected gap between revenues and expenditures of $9.25 million. The gap resulted from a loss in revenues and an increase in expenditures. The proposed strategies include actions to reduce expenditures, increase revenues and use existing reserves to close the budget gap. The School Board and administration are continuing to evaluate the impact of each proposed budget strategy on the District.   Click to read the full press release. Revised 2009-2010 School Year Calendar  Due to weather-related emergency closing days, the new tentative last day of school for students in grades 1-12 is Friday, June 18, 2010.   Click to view a one-page summary of the calendar. New T/E Board Talk Airs on T/E TV  This edition features segments on the proposed changes to the 7th and 8th grade middle school program, the 2010-2011 school year budget and an introduction to new School Board members. The program airs daily at 6:00 pm on T/E TV, Comcast Cable Channel 14 and Verizon Channel 20.   Click here to watch the program on-line.
