President Obama's "Back to School" Speech to Students on September 14, 2010 On Tuesday, September 14 at 1:00 PM, President Obama will deliver a "Back to School" speech intended for the nation's students. According to the White House, "the President's Back to School speech is an opportunity to speak directly to students across the country. Last year, President Obama encouraged students to study hard, stay in school, and take responsibility for their education." As directed by T/E School District Policy 6164, the District will make every attempt to broadcast the speech to District students in a live environment. In the event of a technological difficulty from the sender, per the policy the speech will be broadcast to the students as soon as reasonably possible. If you have any questions, please call Todd Parker at 610-240-1909. |
