A presentation of the final Draft Route 252 Feasibility Study, by Bergmann Associates, will be presented at the Board Of Supervisors Meeting on Monday, March 7, 2011. The meeting begins at 7:30p.m. at the Tredyffrin Township Building.

The Planning Commission will consider an ordinance amendment changing the approval authority for land development plans at their meeting on Thursday, March 17, 2011, 7:00 p.m. The Board of Supervisors will hold an initial public hearing on the amendment at their meeting on Monday, March 21, 7:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Tredyffrin Township Building. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be seen upon request at the Township Building and may be examined there by the public without charge, or at the Tredyffrin Township website.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is closing Mill Road over the Pennsylvania Turnpike on March 21, 2011. The closure will remain in effect until November 4, 2011. This winter’s freeze/thaw cycle has caused some roads to heave or become depressed, and created potholes in others. Public Works Department crews are installing temporary patches where they can until spring arrives and permanent fixes can be made. Please report road problems to the Public Works Department at 610-408-3620 or publicworks@tredyffrin.org.

The Environmental Advisory Committee is inviting all residents to take a course on Green Homes 101, which includes information on storm water management. It will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Keene Hall at the Tredyffrin Township Building, and is being presented by the Delaware Valley Green Building Council.
