Tredyffrin News: April 25 School Board Meeting, Budget Update, New Programs on TETV, Change in Elementary School Start Time, Meeting Schedule

The School Board will host a second budget workshop on May 2, 2011 at 7:30 pm at Conestoga High School. The School Board will present and adopt the 2011-2012 proposed final budget at its regular meeting on May 9, 2011 and then vote on the final budget at its June 13, 2011 regular meeting. These meetings will be held at 7:30 pm at Conestoga High School and are open to the public.

New Programs on TETV

ARCH Presentation - "Get the Facts Regarding the Consequences of Underage Alcohol and Drug Use"

Watch as a panel of experts share information pertaining to underage alcohol and other drug use as well as the resulting consequences for teens and parents. The presentation is airing daily on TETV, Comcast Channel 14 and Verizon Channel 20, at 6:00 am, 12 noon and 7:00 pm. Please note that the 7:00 pm airing may be occasionally pre-empted due to live sports broadcasts.

Elementary School Schedule Changes for 2011-2012

Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year:

T/E elementary schools will begin five minutes earlier to provide additional instructional time in the school day. School dismissal time will remain the same. Click here for additional information on the new start time.
AM and PM kindergarten sessions will follow a modified schedule on days when inclement weather results in a 2-hour delayed opening. Each kindergarten session will be reduced by 1 hour when there is a delayed opening to provide equal instructional time for both sessions.
