| T/E Schools Make Adequate Yearly Progress in 2010-2011 The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has released Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) results for the 2010-2011 school year. All eight T/E schools made Adequate Yearly Progress. According to the PDE web site, the purpose of AYP is to ensure that all students have reading and math skills that prepare them for the future. AYP is based on test results from the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA), state-mandated exams in reading and math for grades 3, 5, 8, and 11. School districts and schools must show AYP on several measurable indicators: Attendance or Graduation Rate, Academic Performance, and Test Participation. |

| | December 5, 2011 Regular School Board Meeting
The School Board will meet on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 7:30 pm in the Tredyffrin/Easttown Administration Offices (TEAO) at 940 West Valley Road, Suite 1700, Wayne, PA. The meeting will be videotapted and will later air on T/E TV, Comcast Channel 14 and Verizon Channel 20, at 9:00 pm daily and at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
