| 2010-2011 Final Budget Approval At its regular meeting on June 14, 2010, the T/E School Board approved the 2010-2011 final budget in the amount of $107,581,180. This budget amount is comprised of $105,921,180 in anticipated spending needed for operations and $1,660,000 for contingencies.The 2010-2011 budget includes a property tax increase at the Act 1 index of 2.9%, or .50 mills, which results in $2.46 million in revenue. This tax rate increase translates to an annual increase of about $128 on an average T/E home assessed at $252,601. The budget also includes $5.26 million in expense reductions and revenue enhancements; and an additional $1.48 million in fund balance contributions to close the operating deficit. In addition, the Board took action to receive the state gaming revenue at $178 per eligible property, which will appear as a property tax reduction on tax bills.
