2013 Budget Discussions During 2012, Tredyffrin will review the services provided by a different Township department each month at a Board of Supervisors' public meeting, as well as revenue sources available to pay for those services. The goal is to engage in public dialogue that will lead to goals for the 2013 budget that begins in the fall. The services involved with maintaining streets and storm sewers will be presented Monday, March 19th, 2012, 7:30 pm. |
Trout Creek Stormwater Overlay District Ordinance Public Hearing Tredyffrin Township has introduced a zoning ordinance amendment to develop an overlay district in the Trout Creek Watershed. The overlay district is intended to encourage redevelopment on large properties in the Trout Creek Watershed that will include substantial public stormwater facilities to better manage runoff. The Township has conducted studies to evaluate and develop recommendations to improve the condition of the Trout Creek Watershed and address flooding in the Glenhardie area. The zoning amendment is part of the implementation effort. Please click here for an overview of the studies and the ordinance. There will be a community meeting on Thursday, March 8th, 7 pm in the Township Building to discuss stormwater and flooding problems along Trout Creek. Stephen Burgo, Township Engineer, will present results of a 2010 study of the watershed and recommendations for improvements. Police Department Learning Series The Police Department is hosting a 12 part learning series. Classes will be held on the last Thursday of every month at the township building from 7 to 9 pm. The next class will be held on Thursday, March 29th in Keene Hall, and the topic will center on Megan’s Law. The recent class held on February 23rd focusing on “Identity Theft” will air on the cable access channel for the month of March. |

Act 537 Public Notice The Township is issuing a Public Notice that it has prepared a Special Study to the ACT 537 Plan Revision for the Valley Creek Trunk Sewer (VCTS), which services Tredyffrin and surrounding communities.
