Please read the following information from Tredyffrin Township regarding Hurricane Sandy and continue to monitor www.tredyffrin.org for updates.

IMPORTANT HURRICANE SANDY INFORMATION - GENERAL

There is a strong possibility of major flooding, high winds, downed trees and wires, and power outages due to Hurricane Sandy. Emergency officials ask that you please prepare sufficiently for this storm by stocking up on necessary supplies, including food and water, flashlights, batteries, medications, and warm clothing and blankets. Please keep cell phones and computers fully charged as well as have a radio on hand to keep informed. You may be without power for a long duration of time, please be prepared.

Please remember to stay in your home during the storm and refrain from all nonessential travel. Always remember NEVER to attempt to drive or walk around barricaded areas and ALWAYS avoid downed wires.

If you live in an area prone to flooding, we strongly urge you to evacuate. Because of the severity of this storm, it is very important to stress that it is highly possible there will come a point where emergency services (POLICE/FIRE/EMS) will not be able to reach you due to the flooding conditions in and around the area.
