Artist of the Month Series

The following artists are on display in the Community Room of the Township Building for the month of January:

Bernice Cooper was an enthusiastic child-artist. She studied at the Philadelphia College of Art as well as the West Chester University Art Program. Bernice exhibits annually at the Historic Yellow Springs Show, the Daylesford Abbey Show, the Gallery at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, and at the Wayne Art Center. Her artwork can be found in shows, galleries and private collections such as the exhibits and sales of the Delaware Valley Art League at the Penn Medicine Buildings and at the Valley Forge Tourist Center and Valley Forge Chapel Shop.

Pam Nimick started painting in 1996 choosing watercolor as her media and in recent years, trying her hand at pastels and oils. Although she has had no formal art education, she has taken advantage of the many fine classes and workshops found in our local art centers and she continues to take classes so that her work may demonstrate a growing technical skill and pleasing finished pieces. Pam is a member of the Wayne Art Center, the Hershey’s Mill Fine Arts Group, and has been a Juried member of the Delaware Valley Art League since 2004.
