Citizens Police Academy The Tredyffrin Township Police Department holds a citizens police academy as part of a community crime prevention program each fall for residents of Tredyffrin Township. The program is designed to increase understanding between citizens and police officers through training and open communications. You are not being trained as a police officer. Ordinance Review The Board of Supervisors began its review of the sidewalk amendment to the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance at its meeting on July 18th. The public hearing regarding this review is available for viewing on the Township's public access channel or by clicking here for a copy of the slide presentation. This public hearing will be continued at the Board of Supervisors' meeting on August 15th, 7:30 pm in the Township building. |

| POLICE UPDATES It's time for an outdoor grill safety check! Please inspect grills for any damaged or worn parts that should be replaced. Remember to also keep grills at a safe distance from combustibles and home exteriors, as well as under constant supervision while in use. |
PUBLIC WORKS UPDATES The Township has been receiving some calls regarding "wasps in the sand" at various parks. These wasps, most commonly known as Eastern Cicada Killers, are typically non-threatening to people. They tend to nest in sand and vacate areas if disturbed. |
