The T/E School Board will meet in regular session on August 22, 2011 at 7:30 pm at the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Administration Offices (TEAO), 940 West Valley Road, Suite 1700 in Wayne.

Conestoga High School Fall Athletic Schedule

The first Conestoga High School home football game of the season is on September 16, 2011 at 7:00 pm against Ridley High School.

Reminder - Pennsylvania School Bus Stopping Law

As the start of the school year approaches, the T/E School District reminds community members about the importance of following the Pennsylvania School Bus Stopping Law to help keep students safe.

Pennsylvania's School Bus Stopping Law:

Motorists must stop at least 10 feet away from school buses that have their red lights flashing and stop arm extended.
Motorists must stop when they are behind the bus, meeting the bus or approaching an intersection where a bus is stopped.
Motorists following or traveling alongside a school bus must also stop until the red lights have stopped flashing, the stop arm is withdrawn, and all children have reached safety.
If physical barriers such as grassy medians, guide rails or concrete median barriers separate oncoming traffic from the bus, motorists in the opposing lanes may proceed without stopping.
Do not proceed until all the children have reached a place of safety.
The penalties if convicted of violating Pennsylvania´s School Bus Stopping Law include:
- $250 fine
- Five points on your driving record
- 60-day license suspension

Individuals who witness a motorist breaking the Pennsylvania School Bus Stopping Law should obtain the car's license plate and a physical description of the driver prior to contacting the local police.

While the T/E School District reviews fliers for content, the District is not responsible for the actual activities or events.

The first day of school for students in grades 1-12 is August 31, 2011. The first day of school for kindergarten students is September 7, 2011.

Printing the Calendar: The District calendar and the individual school calendars may be printed by clicking on the grey "More" button on the top right side of the calendar and then selecting "Print Calendar." The orientation and size of the page can be changed by clicking on "File" then "Print Preview" in Internet Explorer. Paper copies of the online school calendars are available by request in the school offices.

Cycle Day Calendar: The cycle day calendar is available on the T/E School District web site and the individual school web sites by clicking on "Calendar" at the top of each home page. Click here to view the 2011-2012 cycle day calendar.
