| School Board Approves Sports and Activity Fee for 2012-2013 School Year At its April 23, 2012 regular meeting, the Board of School Directors approved a sports and activity participation fee for the 2012-2013 school year. The fee was added as a budget strategy to address the $6.2 million budget deficit. A participation fee of $50 will be collected from each high school and middle school student involved in sports or activities. This participation fee will be charged once for participation in one or more activities during the 2012-2013 school year. Included in the participation fee are all high school and middle school sports and activities that have a paid coach or advisor or use District-funded transportation. A list of sports and activities that will incur a fee can be found at this link: www.tesd.net/fees. | Recap of April 23, 2012 Regular School Board Meeting The School Board met in regular session on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Tredyffrin/Easttown Administration Office. The meeting is currently airing on TETV, Comcast Channel 14 and Verizon Channel 20, at 9:00 pm daily and at 10:00 am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. |
